The all-new Gulfstream G500 stretches the limits of high-speed travel. The G500’s nonstop reach connects distant cities such as Istanbul to Cape Town, South Africa; Los Angeles to London; and San Francisco to Tokyo.
Payload isn’t sacrificed for speed and range. A fully fueled G500 covers 5,000 nautical miles/9,260 kilometers at Mach 0.85 with eight passengers and luggage.
Double the payload and the G500 still flies up to 4,600 nautical miles/8,519 kilometers nonstop, enough to fly from São Paulo, Brazil, to Madrid.
The a width of 7 feet 11 inches/2.41 meters and a height of 6 feet 4 inches/1.93 meters, the all-new Gulfstream G500 cabin is the optimal size and shape to help produce best-in-class speed, maneuverability and fuel efficiency, yet it’s still large enough to carry 19 passengers.

The $43.5 million G500, Gulfstream’s long-awaited replacement for the $41 million G450, is making its NBAA debut only six months after its first flight.

Max speed in both models is targeted at Mach 0.925, also the same as the G650. The G500 will have a max range of 5,000 nm, while the G600's max range is targeted at 6,200 nm.
Gulfstream has built two new factories for the airplanes, each with more than 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
The company is targeting the G500's first flight for sometime next year, with certification planned for 2017 and first deliveries in 2018.
First flight of the G600, meanwhile, is planned for 2017, with certification in 2018 and initial deliveries 2019.
Projected completed price for the G500 is $43.5 million while the G600 will sell for $54.5 million.
The G500 can fly 5,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 3,800 nm at Mach 0.90. That makes it capable of cruising from New York to Geneva at Mach 0.90 and New York to Buenos Aires at Mach 0.85.
Carrying up to 19 passengers each, the G500 has three living areas, and the G600 has up to four, as well as an optional crew rest.
